Happy Thanksgiving!
January 1, 1970
Greetings and salutations! My husband and I are getting ready to head over the river and through the woods to Grandmother's house for the coming feast day. Our son is away at college and we will meet him there. We haven't seen him since he left in September, so we are quite excited.
Our cat, however, will not be pleased. He doesn't know it yet but reservations have been made at the posh (not) kitty motel (actually the vet's) in town. Poor cat. He hates the kitty motel and lies around in his kennel whenever he's there, moping. I've tried to explain that if he weren't such a NAUGHTY cat, we could leave him home with his bowl of food, his blankie, and his cat toys. But he hates being left alone, too, and leaves us little stinky "presents" to clean up. So the kitty motel it is!
I have exciting news. Two of my picture books, MY FAMILY PLAYS MUSIC and GO TO SLEEP, GROUNDHOG! are now posted on the new website, Lookybook (at www.lookybook.com). This website gives you a chance to read the book before buying. It's not mean to replace the warm, cozy comfort of curling up in a soft chair with your children and reading a favorite picture book aloud, but it does give you the chance to "try before you buy". I hope you will enjoy this free preview.
To find my books, go to the site and click on "Authors and Illustrators". Scroll down the list and click on "Judy Cox". That's all there is to it!
Enjoy your holiday!
